Christa E. Cushon

Christa E. Cushon was born and raised in Western Washington. She obtained her J.D. from the University of Maine School of Law and her undergraduate degree from Hawaii Pacific University. While in law school Christa worked as a student attorney in the Juvenile Justice Clinic representing juveniles accused of violent felonies. She has also argued before the Maine Supreme Court and written briefing on intricate constitutional issues for the United States Court of Appeals.

Upon graduating law school Christa worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for Pierce County’s Domestic Violence unit. There, she gained invaluable trial experience prosecuting both felony and misdemeanor crimes. After a successful tenure in the prosecutor’s office, Christa transitioned into private practice where she represented injured clients in disputes against large insurance companies. Christa’s aggressive approach to litigation has allowed her to recover millions of dollars in settlement funds for her clients and secure favorable rulings on complex legal issues. Christa expanded the scope of her legal practice to include employment and business issues, where she represents employees in various disputes including discrimination claims, sexual harassment complaints, and contract negotiations. Building on her extensive litigation experience, she offers strategic counsel to clients navigating complex workplace issues, ensuring fair treatment and equitable resolutions in every case she undertakes.

Beyond her legal pursuits, Christa has a unique passion for promoting holistic well-being. As a certified Pilates instructor, she brings her commitment to discipline and balance from the courtroom into the fitness studio, where she works with clients to achieve both physical and mental wellness. Outside of her professional life Christa can be found attending fitness classes or spending time with her rescue dog, Charlie.
