Jacqueline Hackler joined Corr Downs in 2019. She is a trial attorney with a focus on civil litigation. Jacqueline takes pride in representing businesses and individuals throughout Washington. Her ability to pinpoint key legal matters in cases, combined with exceptional writing skills, makes her a valuable asset to Corr Downs PLLC. Jacqueline is admitted to practice law in Washington.
As an attorney, Jacqueline has experience across a spectrum of practice areas, including medical negligence, employment, serious injury, and civil rights. She takes special interest in representing women who have suffered pregnancy discrimination in the workplace. Over her legal career, Jacqueline has obtained $4 million in settlements representing plaintiffs involved in motor vehicle collisions, medical malpractice, and on behalf of victims of employment discrimination and sexual assault. Jacqueline also has appellate experience and has successfully argued before the Washington Court of Appeals, Division I.
Jacqueline knew early on that she wanted to become an attorney to advocate for those who have been wronged and injured. She truly cares about each client’s well-being and brings a personal touch to her attorney-client relationships.
Raised in a household that included her El Salvadorian grandmother, Jacqueline is fluent in Spanish and is a key communicator with our Spanish-speaking clients. She is a member of the Latina/o Bar Association of Washington, and the Washington State Association of Justice (WSAJ), formerly known as the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association.
Jacqueline graduated cum laude from Seattle University School of Law, where she was an Executive Editor of Notes & Comments on Law Review. She is published in Seattle University Law Review, “Inconsistencies in Combating the Sex Trafficking of Minors: Backpage’s Deceptive Business Practices Should Not Be Immune from State Law Claims,” 40 SEATTLE U. Outside the office, Jacqueline enjoys running, traveling, and experiencing other cultures.
