Rob Gillette joined Corr Downs in 2017. He is a trial attorney with a focus on civil litigation. Rob takes pride in representing businesses and individuals throughout Washington.
As an attorney, Rob has worked with employers across a spectrum of industries, including construction, supermarket retail, hospitals, home improvement retail, and many others. He has litigated cases involving wrongful terminations, FMLA, ADA, WLAD, as well as age and gender discrimination. He drafts policy for employers on a regular basis.
Prior to joining Corr Downs, Rob practiced workers' compensation defense and employment litigation at Reeve Shima, P.C. In law school, Rob interned for Chief Judge Royce C. Lamberth of the U.S. District Court for D.C, who presided over the U.S. Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court from 1995-2002. While interning with Judge Lamberth, Rob concentrated primarily on a trademark dispute involving Cuban cigars and geographically deceptive misdescriptive marks. During law school, Rob served as the Symposium Editor for the Environmental Law Review, which is the oldest law review at the school. Rob is admitted to practice law in Washington.
Outside the office, Rob enjoys running, cooking, and playing all types of sports with his wife and two boys.
